- Fact 1: Made by the Victor Talking Machine Company of Camden, New Jersey, the Victrola line of phonographs first appeared in 1906.
- Fact 2: Traditional phonographs featured large amplification horns which many customers found unattractive. The Victrola's horn is built into a wooden cabinet, hidden from view.
- Fact 3: Victrola models originally ranged between $15 and $600, or $360 and $15,000 in today's dollars.
- Fact 4: Victor's famous logo of a fox terrier listening to a record player is titled His Master's Voice, and is based on the behavior of painter Francis Barraud's late brother's dog.
- Fact 5: Victor and the Victrola brand were absorbed by RCA, who continued the Victrola brand through the 1970s. The name is currently owned by Sony.
